Magic of Sunshine is a fully AI-generated short film created for HappyHandsWorld.com, a company supporting children's emotional development through story-based sensory kits. Styled in a warm, cinematic 3D animation aesthetic reminiscent of high-quality animated feature films, this piece brings a gentle and uplifting story to life. As someone who loves creating children’s content, my goal was to craft an emotionally resonant moment filled with wonder, softness, and connection. The short quickly became one of my most popular posts on LinkedIn and is proudly featured on the client’s official website.
Creative Process
- Concept, Storyboarding & Prompt Development: Worked closely with Tu Stansberry on the script and narrative arc. Used ChatGPT to explore ideas, refine prompts, and troubleshoot issues during generation.
- Visuals & Design: Generated entirely using Google DeepMind Veo 2, including the title sequence. Prompts focused on soft lighting, expressive character moments, and a vibrant natural setting.
- Animation & Motion: Full animation was created using Veo 2, achieving a fluid, film-like result with consistent visual style.
- Editing: Final clips were upscaled with Topaz AI and edited in CapCut to fine-tune pacing, transitions, and flow.
- Sound & Music: ElevenLabs’ voice design tools were used for the narration, while ambient background music was composed with Suno AI to match the tone and pacing.
